Hi there,

Welcome to my March update.  I’m so happy to share that I have been invited as a guest artist to show a selection of my work at the Toast shop on the King’s Road, Chelsea, London. Toast is a brand that I have truly followed for at least 20 years, I love their ethos, their products and the shops. I will be onsite with my work, and some lovely drinks and nibbles (thanks so much Toast!), from 11am-4pm on 21 April.  I would love to see you there, at Toast 205 King’s Road, Chelsea, SW3 5ED.

You may recall I said that the first part of the year is always really productive for me, and 2023 has been no exception! I visited the Peter Doig exhibition at the Courtauld a few weeks back and the sheer thrill of being in the room with that extraordinary work totally lit my fire, and since then I haven’t stopped! My work is getting bigger and bolder, waves are back, and colour is really working for me, creating depth, scale and a real vibrancy that I’m really happy with.

Visits to Whitstable, Camber Sands and Dungeness have restored my inspiration and filled up my tank – ready to keep pushing until the Wimbledon Art Studio open days in May.  I might even make another poster!

My website is up to date and I will keep uploading images as and when paintings are finished.  I love to get feedback, so do email me if you have some. Instagram and Facebook are also updated regularly and I will have more news for you in April regarding another show I am taking part in, but for now thank you for your support and take care.
