Painting is my escape from the confines of life in the city, I recall memories and visions of another time and place. Everything starts with drawing, colour leads me, texture guides me and in the end my brush strokes are a landscape in themselves. I break free into vast open spaces with enormous sky and silence. Sometimes empty and bleak, sometimes warm and inviting. Contemporary, abstract landscape painted with expression and passion.
