da Vinci drew thousands of faces of people he saw in public and when painting he would flip through his notbooks for faces to paint in his pictures x

Here goes.. a month (near enough) ago, whilst looking through my favourite people here, the latest update from Niall at @wearehappydoggo he introduced to the world a tiny white dog, who had been horribly treated, he did what he does, he scooped her up and gave her a chance. He called her Alba, a beautiful name (sunrise in Italian), for a little girl with a big heart and batty ears. She was skin and bone, very sick and so very full of love. For 14 days she walked with Niall and Hank the dog nurse to the top of their little hill to see the sun rise, pure joy. She did not see a 15th sunrise. This painting was created during that time, and is dedicated to her beautiful memory. I said if I sold it I would donate some money to the dog hospital. The painting is off to a beautiful family, complete with another little soul, also called Alba, a human one. Thankyou for everything you do @wearehappydoggo Niall, keeping the street dogs of your island community in Thailand safer and fed.
